Veteran Ghanaian actor Jojo Mills-Robertson, famed for his role in Efie Wura, was overcome with grief as he bid a final farewell to his son, Francis Mills-Robertson, during an emotional burial service held at the Dansoman Keep Fit Park on Saturday.
Francis, 38, passed away on November 2, 2025, after a brief illness at the Dansoman Polyclinic.
A heartbreaking moment unfolded when the devastated actor, standing beside his son’s casket, lamented that his years of struggle now felt meaningless. With a trembling voice, he expressed the pain no parent wishes to bear, stating that he had hoped his son would be the one to bury him, not the reverse.
The emotional scene left many mourners in tears, marking one of the most sorrowful chapters in the life of the celebrated actor.
The funeral service, which ran from dawn until late afternoon, drew family members, close friends and sympathizers from across the entertainment industry.
Following the service, Francis was laid to rest at the Winneba Cemetery.
