Accra Great Olympics FC have been hit by a double leadership exit following the resignations of Chief Executive Officer Kudjoe Fianoo and General Manager Eric Alagidede.

Fianoo, a former AshantiGold chief executive and two-time chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), formally stepped down on Monday, February 9, 2026, citing personal reasons.

Alagidede, meanwhile, has also ended his spell at the capital-based club after just eight months in the role. He joined the “Dade Boys” on July 11, 2025, with a mandate to lead a strategic and operational rebuild following the club’s relegation from the Ghana Premier League.

His appointment had been seen as a major boost for Olympics, given his growing reputation as one of Ghana’s most promising young football administrators. Before joining Accra, Alagidede played a key role in the rise and stability of Nsoatreman FC and previously served as Director of Communications at Karela United FC, further strengthening his profile in Ghana’s domestic football scene.

Great Olympics, two-time champions of the Ghana Premier League, were relegated two seasons ago alongside Bofoakwa Tano and Real Tamale United. Since then, the club has struggled with stability and consistency.

Instead of mounting a sustained push for an immediate return to the top flight, the “Dade Boys” have endured a difficult Division One League campaign, hovering close to the relegation zone and facing the risk of slipping into Ghana’s third tier.
