Gotv launches ‘Gye wo 99’ promotion

MultiChoice Ghana, operators of Gotv has launched a new promotion, ‘Gye wo 99’ which will commence on July 1, 2017.

General Manager of the company, Kingsley Winfred Afful, explained at a press conference that the promotion aims at helping reduce the price of the Gotv decoder from GHC 179 to GHC 99.

This package, he said, won’t affect the number of channels on the decoder and hence wants every Ghanaian to take advantage of the promotion.

“The ‘Gye Wo 99’ promotion is to allow everyone enjoy our beautiful digital contents. There are over 40 channels with movies, documentaries and sports. The local channels have the new movies. We have many live channels be it sports and exciting shows. The confederation cup is going on live. The latest Telemundo Telenovelas are available…” the General Manager said.

Nevertheless, the digital broadcast company, Gotv Ghana further promised to mesmerize respective audience with a lot of interesting upcoming offers hence customers can have the ‘GOtv Plus’ at GHC 45, ‘GOtv Value’ at GHC 22 and the ‘Gotv Lite’ at GHC 9 after the one month plus activation respectively.

The GHC 99 Decoders plus antenna will be available through a wide range of retailers across the country.

“GOtv’s mission is to deliver value to our customers by making great entertainment more accessible and affordable at the new decoder price of GH¢99.00. ‘Gye Wo 99’ Campaign to kick-start on July 1, is to give incoming and potential subscribers a feel of their customer experience and quality television viewing…,” he added.

Gotv Ghana is expected to embark on the consumer promotion with renowned actor Lil Win in Kumasi next week Tuesday in favor of ‘Gye Wo 99’ endorsement.
