Gonjaland Youth Association demands justice for Gbinyiri clash victims

The national executives of the Gonjaland Youth Association have called for justice for the victims of the recent killings at Gbinyiri, which have fueled ongoing conflict in the Sawla District of the Savannah Region.

Addressing a press conference in Sawla, the Association condemned the murders, describing them as not only a grave injustice to the victims’ families and communities but also a serious threat to peace, security, and the rule of law.

President of the Association, Alhassan Baba Darison, urged the relevant authorities to act with urgency and impartiality in apprehending the perpetrators.

He stressed that the Gonjaland Youth Association remains committed to promoting peace, unity, and justice across the region.
