Omankrado of Gomoa Fetteh, Nana Kwesi Quansah, has donated a cow to Adom TV in preparation for this year’s much-anticipated Fufuo Party, in his usual annual fashion.

The event, which brings together food enthusiasts and cultural lovers, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Adom TV premises.

Speaking to correspondent Kofi Adjei, Nana Kwesi Quansah expressed his excitement at supporting an event that not only promotes local cuisine but also fosters unity among Ghanaians.

“It is always a joy to support initiatives that celebrate our culture and traditions. The Fufuo Party is a platform where we can showcase our culinary heritage, share joy and strengthen community bonds. It is always graceful to see smiles put on people’s faces, hence my donation to that cause,” he said.

Adom TV presenter, Sister Sandy, who took delivery of the donation, described it as timely and generous, noting that it would play a crucial role in ensuring that attendees experience authentic Fufu dishes, complemented with traditional soups and accompaniments.

She further highlighted that the party is part of Adom TV’s ongoing effort to preserve and promote Ghanaian food culture while creating a fun and engaging space for families and friends.

Also weighing in on the donation, Chief of Fetteh Zongo, Saliki Tahiru, commended the Omankrado for his consistent support of community initiatives.

The Fufuo Party, an annual culinary celebration hosted by Adom TV, is renowned for bringing together food enthusiasts and cultural figures from across the country.

Attendees will enjoy a variety of fufu preparations paired with traditional soups such as light soup, palm nut soup, and groundnut soup, prepared by top Ghanaian chefs.

The cherry on top will be live music performances and cultural displays which will accompany the feast.
