Bibiani GoldStars have departed Ghana for Algeria as they prepare for the second leg of their CAF Champions League tie against JS Kabylie.

The Miners face a tough challenge after suffering a 2-0 defeat in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium, leaving them with a mountain to climb if they are to keep their continental ambitions alive.

Players, technical staff, and management left Accra on Thursday morning aboard Turkish Airlines. The team is travelling in two groups, with the first contingent transiting through Istanbul to Algiers, while the second group will join them in Turkey on Friday before continuing the journey.

Upon arrival in Algeria, GoldStars will conduct their final training session at the match venue on Saturday, in line with CAF regulations.

Interim coach Nana Amankwah, who took charge following the dismissal of Frimpong Maxwell, will lead the Ghanaian champions from the touchline as they aim to overturn the deficit and make history.
