The Global Patriots Germany, a diaspora wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has extended its warm congratulations to the five presidential aspirants who successfully went through the vetting and balloting process ahead of the party’s presidential primary scheduled for January 31, 2026.
In a statement, the group described the milestone as a reaffirmation of the NPP’s long-standing commitment to transparency, fairness, and internal democracy.
“This is no small feat, for it shows once again that our great party stands firm on the principles of transparency, fairness, and democracy. These values have been the backbone of the NPP since its birth, and we are proud to see them alive today,” the group said.
The statement, signed on behalf of members of Global Patriots Germany, urged all aspirants and their supporters to conduct themselves with dignity and decorum throughout the campaign period.
It emphasized that maintaining unity and mutual respect was essential to preserving the image and strength of the party.
“This is not the time to tear one another down but to lift the party higher,” the statement cautioned, adding that internal divisions or public exchanges of insults could weaken the party’s standing ahead of the national elections.
The group also encouraged the aspirants to focus on sharing their policy ideas and vision for the party and country rather than engaging in personal attacks.
“We urge every aspirant to focus on what truly matters — sharing their vision, policies, and leadership ideas with humility and clarity. A house divided against itself cannot stand,” the statement noted.
Global Patriots Germany further commended all the aspirants for their contributions to the party, describing them as capable leaders who each bring valuable experience and dedication to the NPP’s mission.
However, it stressed that the true strength of the party lies in its ability to compete honorably and remain united after the internal contest.
The group appealed to supporters of all the aspirants to avoid inflammatory language and ensure that their campaigns reflect the party’s values of respect and maturity.
“The tongue is not a sword, yet it can cut deeper than steel. The way we speak today could either build the bridge to victory or burn it down completely,” the statement added.
Concluding, Global Patriots Germany urged all NPP members to prioritize unity before, during, and after the primaries, reminding them that the world is watching how the party manages its internal affairs.
“When the dust settles, it should not be about who won or lost, but about how we stood together as brothers and sisters of the same tradition,” the group emphasized.
The statement ended with a rallying call for solidarity and peace within the party, reaffirming its slogan: “NPP First!”
