Dutch Eredivisie side FC Utrecht have reached an agreement with highly rated Ghanaian striker Nana Gyamfi-Amoah, set to join the club in 2026 when he turns 18, pending the approval of his residence permit.
The young forward will sign a two-year contract running until mid-2028, marking a significant step in his promising career.
Currently on the books of Accra Shooting Stars FC, Gyamfi-Amoah has been with the club since the age of 12, progressing through its youth development system.
He has also gained valuable international experience, having trained with German giants Borussia Dortmund and represented Ghana at the U-15 level.
Speaking on his move, the 17-year-old expressed his excitement: “This is a dream come true. I’m incredibly grateful to God for this opportunity. Although I have to wait until I’m 18, I can’t wait to get on the pitch, show my qualities, and be part of this amazing football family.”
Describing his playing style, Gyamfi-Amoah added: “I’m a confident player who sets up attacks, makes precise passes, moves quickly, and shoots with accuracy. I give 100 per cent every game, and my teammates can always count on me.”
He is expected to begin his journey in the Netherlands with FC Utrecht’s junior side before working his way up to the senior team.
