According to Xiinoon Entertainment, “Berlin Up n Running” aims to highlight the surprises of Berlin’s cosmopolitan scene while offering insights into the Ghanaian diaspora’s experiences.
The ensemble cast includes standout performances by Emmanuel Quansah as Fish Bone, Richmond Yeboah as Lion, Isaac Kofi Hagan as Black, Richmond Amankwa Abadio as Richie, and Michael Ansah as Misco. Female leads Beatrice Danso as Teresa, Efemena as Lia, and Desiree Meischner as Laura add depth to the storyline, with Bill Smith rounding out the cast as Bill.
Their performances bring authenticity and relatability to the series, capturing the essence of Berlin’s multicultural fabric.
Ben Zola, the creative force behind the series, is no stranger to Ghana’s entertainment industry. Based in Germany, Zola has built a reputation for his cinematic work with top Ghanaian musicians and actors, including Kobi Rana, Kofi Asamoah, and Emelia Brobbey.
