The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) on Thursday, July 3, 2025, launched its 2024 Tourism Report themed “Growth and Stability.”
The report serves as a vital resource for assessing the performance of Ghana’s tourism sector and identifying key trends, opportunities, and areas for strategic intervention.
According to GTA, 2024 marked a year of consolidation and renewed growth in the tourism, arts, and culture ecosystem.
With the ongoing implementation of flagship initiatives such as Beyond the Return and signature events like the Kwahu Easter Paragliding Festival and Emancipation Celebration, Ghana continues to affirm its position as a leading destination for heritage tourism, cultural exchange, and investment in Africa.
The report provides critical data and analysis to inform policy direction, guide private sector decisions, and measure the impact of collective efforts across the sector.
It highlights a steady rise in international arrivals, the strengthening of domestic tourism, and the sector’s contribution to job creation, community development, and national revenue generation.
