The Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has announced that Ghana has been selected to host the 2025 Triennale of the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA).
Speaking at a press briefing in Accra, the Minister said the landmark event will take place from 29th to 31st October 2025 at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
It will bring together over 350 participants, including 30 African Ministers of Education and key global partners such as the World Bank, AfDB, UNESCO, FCDO, Gates Foundation, and MasterCard Foundation.
The Triennale, themed “Strengthening the resilience of Africa’s educational systems: advancing towards ending learning poverty by 2035 with a well-educated and skilled workforce for the continent and beyond,” will provide a platform for sharing ideas, fostering partnerships, and driving innovation in education across Africa.
Mr. Iddrisu reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to advancing quality, equitable, and inclusive education for all learners through strategic investments and collaborations.
The conference will be officially opened by President John Dramani Mahama.
