The Ghana Railway Company Limited has announced the temporary suspension of the Accra–Tema shuttle service from Tuesday, August 12, 2025, due to technical challenges.
In a public notice issued the same day, the company said operations are expected to resume fully on Monday, August 18, 2025.
“The general public is hereby informed that due to some technical hitches, the running of the Accra–Tema shuttle service has been temporarily suspended,” the statement read.
The company apologised to passengers for the inconvenience caused.
