Stonebwoy’s manager, Blakk Cedi says Shatta Wale has lied for saying he was unaware Stonebwoy and Samini were backstage waiting to perform at his Reign Album launch.

According to him, Bulldog made Shatta Wale aware several times on stage but Shatta refused them the opportunity.

He made the revelation in an interview with Ohemaa Woyeje on Adom FM’s Work and Happiness on Monday.

“We drove to Fantasy Dome but Bulldog denied us and said he wanted to tell Shatta first. He went twice and came back saying Shatta wasn’t interested so we left,” he told Ohemaa.

Dancehall act, Samini, said he was present at Shatta Wale’s Reign album launch concert with fellow colleague Stonebwoy but they were not allowed to perform.

The “My Own” musician explained that just as Shatta Wale surprised him at his Saminifest concert last year, he wanted to do same for his brother but Shatta refused the gesture.

But in a quick riposte, Shatta Wale denied stopping the two musicians from performing at the concert, labelling the accusations as “news” to him.

But Blakk Cedi says Shatta was a liar for saying he was unaware the two dancehall musicians were ready to grace the podium.

“It’s a big lie. He [Shatta] was very much aware. It’s his show. He will say whatever to save his image. We expected that we had the signals that would happen. We’ve played our part. I am an artiste manager, if they performed, the headlines would have switched. It’s a game and we understand,” he said.
