According to doctors, Kate Aidoo may never see again

The 23-year-old Kate Aidoo, a mobile money vendor at Gomoa Fetteh in the Gomoa East District of the Central region, who was robbed and bathed with acid by unknown persons on Monday may never see again.

According to doctors at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, the extent of damage to her face may lead to permanent lose of sight.

Reports by Adom News’ reporter, Kofi Agyei indicated that the two men came to the shop twice to withdraw money through their phone and committed the act when they entered the shop the second time.

Ms Aidoo, who suffered the acid burns on her face and breast, was rushed to the Village of Hope Clinic, but was only administered first aid and given a referral letter because they were told the situation was beyond the clinic.
