The Ajumako Magistrate Court in the Central Region, presided over by His Worship Rockson Alfred Kpodo, has remanded a 53-year-old man for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl at Ajumako Besease in the Central Region.
The suspect, identified as Bennett Danquah alias Kojo Sam, pleaded not guilty to the charge which informed the judge’s decision to adjourn the case to April 3, 2019.

In an interview with Adom News, the victim, who according to her mother could hardly speak after the incident, stated that she was threatened by the suspect after the incident and that was why she could not tell anyone immediately.
“This is about the third time he is doing this to me but because he told me he will kill me if I tell anyone, I was afraid to tell my mother,” she stated.
