Parts of the country will wake up to reduced visibility this morning as mist and fog patches are expected to form over coastal, forest and mountainous areas, according to the Ghana Meteorological Agency.
The conditions are expected to clear as the day progresses, giving way to mostly sunny weather with periods of cloud development across southern Ghana.
However, the agency cautions that portions of the coastal and forest zones should brace for localised thunderstorms or rain from mid-afternoon into the evening.
Meanwhile, the northern sector will remain largely dry and slightly hazy throughout the day, accompanied by hot and sunny afternoon conditions.
The Meteo Agency also notes that residents in the upper regions should expect relatively cool night and early-morning temperatures.
