Black Stars coach Otto Addo has declared his team ready to take on any opponent at the 2026 World Cup.

The 50-year-old made the remarks following Friday night’s draw at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, which placed Ghana in Group L alongside Panama, England, and Croatia. This marks the nation’s fifth appearance on football’s biggest stage.

Reflecting on the challenge ahead, Addo expressed confidence in the squad’s ability to compete against all three opponents.

“We want to win every match, that’s for sure. If we start well, anything is possible,” he told 3Sports.

“On a good day, I know we can beat anyone — but I also know we can lose to any of these teams, including Panama, if we underrate them,” he added.

Ghana will open their campaign against Panama on 17 June, face England on 23 June, and conclude the group stage against Croatia.

After exiting at the group stage in Qatar in 2022, the Black Stars are determined to advance beyond the first round for the first time since 2010.
