GHALCA Top 4 Tournament moved to Accra Sports Stadium

Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Mr. John Ansah, has confirmed that the 2025 edition of the GHALCA Top 4 Tournament will now be held at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The competition was originally scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi but has been relocated due to ongoing renovation works at the venue.

Mr. Ansah, speaking to GHONE TV, revealed that after thorough consultations, the decision was made to shift the tournament to the national stadium in Accra.

“We are playing in Accra and the date stands the same,” Ansah said.

“We will be doing the needful where we have to launch the program, but as it stands, Accra Sports Stadium is where we are playing,” he added.

The tournament has been scheduled for August 20–24.

The 2025 GHALCA Top 4 Tournament will feature Premier League champions Gold Stars FC, along with Heart of Lions, Asante Kotoko, and Hearts of Oak.

The pre-season competition will serve as a vital warm-up for the clubs ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
