The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the dates for the 2025 promotion examinations for eligible teachers, with the assessment scheduled for Monday, December 29, and Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
According to the GES, teachers seeking promotion to Assistant Director II and Principal Superintendent will write their exams on December 29, while candidates for Assistant Director I and Deputy Director will take theirs on December 30.
The examinations will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on both days.
Candidates are required to report to their designated examination centres by 8:30 a.m. and must present a valid Ghana Card along with any other required materials.
The list of eligible candidates, exam centres, and invigilation arrangements will be communicated later.
GES has directed Regional Directors to promptly disseminate the information to all schools under their supervision. Teacher unions, including GNAT, NAGRAT and CCT, have also been encouraged to assist in informing their members.
The Service expressed appreciation to all stakeholders and said it looks forward to a smooth and successful promotion process.
