In celebration of its 30-year journey, Globen School welcomed alumni, former teachers, and the wider school community on 19th December 2025 for a spirited homecoming event ahead of its official anniversary in March 2026.

The gathering celebrated the school’s growth from a small nursery to a leading institution renowned for academic, technological, and extracurricular excellence. The homecoming featured performances by current students and gifts from alumni, creating a lively and emotional reunion for former students and teachers.

Mrs. Gloria Obeng, the school’s Director, expressed pride in seeing alumni return as confident, accomplished, and responsible young adults. Speaking to Joy Learning TV, she recalled Globen School’s humble beginnings: “We started Globen School with just two children, my son Kweku Obeng and a little girl named Afi Agblobe.” She added, “Seeing former Globen learners return, now grown into confident, responsible, and accomplished young adults, fills me with great excitement and deep pride. I’m so proud of you all.”
Headmaster Mr. Yeboah Delali highlighted key milestones, including the integration of the British curriculum, international recognition at the ENJOY AI Competition in China in 2024 and 2025, and recent initiatives such as the new robotics laboratory, swimming lessons, e-learning programs, and the installation of classroom projectors. The school has also continued to shine in sports, winning both male and female football tournaments at the EL-WALK competition.
Alumni and former teachers expressed gratitude for the school’s impact on their personal and professional growth, while Headmistress Mrs. Fortune Dzormeku shared in the joy of witnessing her former students’ achievements.
The homecoming set the stage for Globen School’s 30th anniversary celebration in March 2026, marking three decades of dedication to education, innovation, and community.
