
The Ministry of Interior has announced that Friday, November 8, 2024, will not be a public holiday despite the celebration of the 40th Farmers’ Day.
The date has been moved from the traditional first Friday of December, which would have been December 6, for the 2024 celebration.
However, this rescheduling has been necessitated by the upcoming general elections.
The Interior Ministry noted in a statement that December 6 remains the statutory holiday despite the early celebration.
