Held as an annual initiative, the games go beyond competition, as it creates a platform for strengthening bonds among the people of Kwahu while celebrating their shared identity through sport.

This year’s edition has drawn strong participation and support, with traditional leaders, chiefs and community stakeholders present to lend their backing to the event.

There is already a strong sense of anticipation among fans, with teams stepping onto the field determined to secure bragging rights for their communities.

The defending champions, Nteso, return with confidence, aiming to retain their title after an impressive run in the previous edition.

Last year’s final remains fresh in memory, as Nteso locked horns with hosts Kwahu Tafo in a gripping contest. Kwahu Tafo had fought their way into the final after a dramatic semi-final clash against Atibie, edging them out 8-7 in a tense penalty shootout.

Despite their spirited run, it was Nteso who emerged champions, setting the stage for a highly competitive title defence this year.
