Renowned legal practitioner Moses Foh-Amoaning has backed Asante Kotoko to triumph over Golden Kick in the 2024/25 FA Cup final, though he anticipates a closely contested encounter.
The Porcupine Warriors are set to face the lower-tier side on Sunday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, with kick-off slated for 17:00 GMT.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, Foh-Amoaning acknowledged Kotoko’s pedigree but warned that Golden Kick should not be underestimated.
“Asante Kotoko has the advantage, but it will be a tough game for them. I have watched Golden Kick, and they are a good side, and so I believe it will be a tough game for them,” he said.
The former Ghana Boxing Authority president also expressed hope that Kotoko will seize the moment to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
“It will be a good game, and I hope that Kotoko will take up this opportunity to build a good team,” he added.
The winner of Sunday’s final will secure a spot in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup, representing Ghana on the continental stage.
