Five police officers interdicted for misuse of uniforms on social media

The Ghana Police Service has interdicted five officers for misconduct involving the unauthorised use of police uniforms on social media.

In a press release dated December 16, 2025, the Police identified the affected officers as G/Sgt. Samuel Agbemanyale, G/Cpl. Isaac Mpere, G/Cpl. Samuel Agbo, G/Cpl. Charles Oduro, and PW/Const. Elizabeth Dicka Korkor.

According to the statement, the officers have been referred to the Police Professional Standards Bureau for further investigation and the application of necessary disciplinary measures.

The Police Service reiterated its commitment to upholding professionalism and discipline within its ranks, particularly regarding the proper use of official uniforms and conduct on social media platforms.
