The Fire Service Ladies Association (FISLA) has extended support to the Angels of Hope Orphanage in Tarkwa as part of activities marking its 30th anniversary.
Led by ADO I Wendy Abokoma, the delegation from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) presented assorted items and a cash donation to the home in a gesture aimed at giving back to the community and uplifting vulnerable children.

The team, which also included the District Fire Officer, DO II Alex Assiem, donated 3 packs of liquid soap, 2 gallons of liquid soap, 2 boxes of powdered soap, 2 packs of sanitary pads, 2 boxes of washing bar soap, 1 pack of baby wipes, and GH₵2,000 in cash.
The headmistress, staff, and children of the orphanage expressed profound appreciation and offered prayers for the firefighters.

They also appealed for continued visits and support to help sustain the facility’s needs.
FISLA’s 30th anniversary activities continue across the country with similar community-focused initiatives.
