A delegation from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has visited Silvester Amekuedi, a civilian who was recently injured in an incident involving a fire truck at Madina.
Â
Led by ACFO I Elizabeth Amoako and Greater Accra Regional Fire Officer, ACFO II Rashid Nisawu, the visit was conducted on the instructions of the Acting Chief Fire Officer, Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong.
During the visit, the team expressed empathy on behalf of the Service and presented a token to support Mr. Amekuedi’s family.
They also assured him and his relatives of the GNFS’s commitment to his well-being and pledged continued support throughout his recovery.
The gesture, according to officials, underscores the Service’s dedication to public accountability and the welfare of civilians affected during emergency operations.
