Ola Maame, founder of Ola’s Herbal and Spiritual Center (Soul Travel, Ghana), has summoned controversial pastor Prophet Jedidiah Henry Kore, popularly known as “Fire Oja,” before the Nae We Arbitration Court following a series of alleged defamatory remarks made against her and veteran musician Mzbel.

The action was taken on Thursday, January 8, 2026, when Ola Maame, accompanied by her entourage, presented a petition to Nuumo Akwaa Mensah III, the Nae Wulomo and Highest Chief Priest as well as custodian of Ga traditions. She is seeking redress over what she describes as “unguarded and highly defamatory” public statements allegedly made by the pastor.

After the performance of preliminary traditional rites, Ola Maame formally notified the court of her intention to press multiple charges against Fire Oja. These include allegations that he labelled her a prostitute, accused her of infidelity, falsely claimed that her seven-year-old son is not her husband’s child, branded her a “fake spiritualist,” and accused her of defrauding people through her work. She further accused him of making statements suggesting she was responsible for individuals developing schizophrenia.

The Nae We Traditional Court, located in Gbese, Jamestown, is a longstanding dispute resolution body within the Ga traditional justice system. It operates as a customary institution, applying traditional alternative dispute resolution mechanisms rather than modern legal procedures.

The case has been scheduled for hearing on Thursday, January 15, 2026, and is expected to draw significant public attention as Ola Maame turns to traditional authority to defend her reputation, legacy, and personal integrity.
