Highlife musician Fameye has revealed a strained relationship with fellow artiste Shatta Wale, expressing his desire to reconnect and collaborate with him again.

Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime’s PrimeTime, Fameye disclosed that he has been trying to reach Shatta Wale for a feature but has not received any response.

According to him, they previously shared a strong bond, frequently communicating and even planning to record songs together.

“I need his verse badly, but he is upset with me,” he said, adding that he is unsure what may have gone wrong.

Fameye suggested that he may have unknowingly said something that did not sit well with Shatta Wale but insisted that, to the best of his knowledge, he has not done anything intentionally wrong.

He noted that he avoids actions that could lead to long-term consequences, making the situation even more confusing for him.

Despite the silence, Fameye spoke highly of Shatta Wale, describing him as a good friend and someone he genuinely enjoys working with.

“I like him so much as a person and colleague… it’s nice working with him and I like the vibe we used to have,” he added.

Fameye expressed hope that the situation can be resolved, as he remains open to rebuilding their relationship and collaborating in the studio once again.
