Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Facebook has shared his basic guidelines which helped him successfully manage his app throughout its 16 years of existence.

Excited about the height his social networking website has attained, Mark Zuckerberg  revealed the most important lesson he learnt is to always stand up for principles even when they are unpopular or out of fashion.

Explaining further he confessed when he started building the website he never imagined it will grow to connect billions of people but his faith in his abilities made it possible.

Additionally, he hinted he believes in empowering people and he is confident his website has given people a voice as well as creating a platform for connectivity.

Undoubtedly, Facebook has its own issues, but Mark addressing the setback in a “birthday post” on his official account, assured his team is working hard to solve it.

Originally designed for college students, Facebook was created in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg along with fellow Havard students and roommates Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes.
