Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association, Nana Oduro Sarfo, has come to the defence of Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani in the wake of the club’s shock exit from the MTN FA Cup.

The Accra giants were stunned 1-0 by Division Two outfit True Life FC at the Kpobiman Complex on Wednesday, a result that drew strong criticism from sections of their fanbase.

Speaking to Asempa FM, Oduro Sarfo insisted that Dramani should not be singled out for blame, noting the coach’s familiarity with the opposition.

“I wouldn’t join people to blame Didi Dramani for Hearts of Oak’s MTN FA Cup exit, but he knows True Life in and out,” he told Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show.

“Without looking at the team sheet, he can give you the lineup of True Life,” he added.

With the cup disappointment behind them, Hearts of Oak will now aim to refocus on the Ghana Premier League, where they travel to the Aliu Mahama Stadium to take on Karela United in a Matchday 13 clash this weekend.
