The Economic and Organised Crimes Office (EOCO) has opened formal investigations into activities of Ibrahim Mahama, a brother to former President John Mahama.

Ibrahim Mahama, who heads Engineers and Planners was on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, picked up by EOCO after it emerged that he had issued dud cheques to the Customs Unit of the Ghana Revenue Authority.

He was reportedly interrogated for over eight hours by investigators but was later released.

Adomonline.com sources say he has been required to report regularly to EOCO as investigations continue.

However, this is not the first time EOCO has moved to investigate former President John Mahama’s brother.
