The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, is set to address participants at the Ghana–UK Investment Summit 2026 today as investors, policymakers and industry leaders gather to explore investment opportunities in Ghana’s energy sector.
Dr Jinapor is expected to speak on the theme, “Exploring Ghana’s Energy Mix – Investment Opportunities in the Energy Sector,” highlighting how ongoing reforms under the government’s Reset Agenda are positioning the country as an attractive destination for energy investment.
His presentation will focus on opportunities across the petroleum, power generation and renewable energy sectors, as well as emerging technologies driving Ghana’s energy transition. He is also expected to outline measures being implemented to improve energy reliability, strengthen sector governance and enhance investor confidence.
The summit brings together international partners, development institutions and private sector players to discuss Ghana’s evolving energy landscape and identify new avenues for collaboration in infrastructure development, innovation and sustainable energy solutions.
The event forms part of broader efforts to attract investment, accelerate energy sector growth and support Ghana’s long-term transition to a more resilient and diversified energy mix.
