Empress Gifty appeals to President Mahama for creative arts auditorium

Award-winning gospel musician, Empress Gifty Adorye, has made a passionate appeal to President John Dramani Mahama to support the establishment of a large seating auditorium for the creative arts industry.

The gospel star made the appeal when she, together with her team, paid a courtesy call on the President to dedicate seven prestigious awards she has received this year in recognition of her contribution to gospel music in Ghana.

During the visit, Empress Gifty expressed her appreciation to Mahama for his longstanding support for the creative arts and urged him to consider prioritizing the construction of a modern auditorium to serve as a hub for music and stage performances.

She noted that the lack of a national facility capable of hosting large-scale events continues to hinder the growth of the creative sector and limits the potential of Ghanaian talents.

The meeting was marked by moments of gratitude and reflection as Empress Gifty shared how her faith and commitment to excellence have sustained her career.
