Inspirel Educational Connect has hosted an Educational Empowerment Programme under the theme “Dream Big, Act Now” at the Trinity Baptist Church Auditorium, bringing together students and young people for a day focused on academic growth, personal development, and employability skills.
The event featured vibrant student performances that showcased creativity and talent, setting an energetic tone for the programme. This was followed by a mentorship session, where professionals from diverse fields engaged participants with career guidance, shared personal experiences, and offered practical advice on building a successful future.
Speakers stressed the importance of mindset in shaping professional outcomes, encouraging students to remain focused, disciplined, and intentional about their goals.
A key highlight of the programme was an address by Lawyer Mattah Tobias Dennis Xorse, Esq., who shared a deeply personal story of resilience. Living with a visual impairment, he recounted the challenges he overcame on his journey to becoming a legal practitioner.
He urged students not to be limited by their circumstances but to remain steadfast in pursuing their ambitions.
“Don’t let negative circumstances define your life. Stay focused on the positive, and be determined to chase your dreams no matter how hard the road may seem. It is the power of perseverance that will see you through,” he said.
Another speaker, Nana Kwesi McKenzie, CEO of McZie Media, challenged prevailing negative perceptions about social media, urging young people to harness digital platforms for growth and positive influence rather than distraction or harm. He highlighted the role of responsible online engagement in personal and national development.
“Programs like these show that social media can be a tool for good. It’s all about how we use it—towards self-improvement, not destruction,” he noted.
The CEO of Inspirel Educational Connect, Opoku Enock, underscored the purpose of the initiative, explaining that it was designed to bridge the gap between dreams and action by exposing students to real-world experiences and professional mentorship.
He said the programme aimed to equip participants with the confidence and knowledge needed to take practical steps toward their future careers.
