The Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Mr Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, has commended the NPA Ladies Football Team for winning a prestigious trophy after defeating Ghana Gas Ladies in a competitive encounter hosted by Ghana Gas in October this year.
Mr Tameklo congratulated the team for bringing honour to the Authority, describing the victory as a demonstration of discipline, commitment and teamwork.
He noted that winning an away match against the host team underscored the determination and fighting spirit of the NPA Ladies.

“You brought great honour to the Authority. You visited somebody in his home and beat him. It demonstrated your resilience and dedication. Congratulations on your excellent work,” the NPA Chief Executive said.
He also praised the technical team, led by Tijani Shaibu and Daniel Oduro Mintah, for their leadership and tactical guidance, noting that their efforts were key to the team’s success.
According to him, the technical bench played a crucial role in preparing the players both mentally and physically for the challenge.
Mr Tameklo made the remarks when the team, accompanied by the technical crew and the President of NAPET Ladies, Evelyn Yeboah, paid a courtesy call on him to present the trophy.
He pledged management’s commitment to recognising and appropriately rewarding the team for their achievement.
