Ecobank rewards 3,500 customers nationwide as part of 35th anniversary promo draw

Ecobank Ghana has rewarded more than 3,500 customers nationwide in its latest monthly promotional draw held at Kasoa, as part of activities marking the bank’s 35th anniversary.

The promotion is aimed at rewarding customer loyalty and encouraging a savings culture, with a target of reaching 10,000 beneficiaries before the campaign ends.

Speaking to Adom News, the Head of Direct Banking at Ecobank Ghana, Yaa Kesewaa Nyanor, disclosed that the bank has set aside over GH¢1.5 million to reward customers across the country.

She explained that customers qualify for the promotion by maintaining an Ecobank account and making deposits in multiples of GH¢400, adding that participants still have the opportunity to take part in upcoming draws.

According to her, winners in the January draw received cash prizes of GH¢10,000, GH¢5,000 and GH¢2,000, while others were awarded fuel cards and airtime vouchers.

Ms. Nyanor encouraged members of the public to open an Ecobank account to stand a chance of winning in the February draw.

She also cautioned customers to remain vigilant against fraud, stressing that the bank does not contact customers to request PINs or personal details, as all customer information is securely held by the institution.

Ecobank Ghana, a subsidiary of the pan-African Ecobank Group, is commemorating 35 years of operations in Ghana.

As part of the anniversary celebration, the bank has rolled out a nationwide rewards campaign focused on promoting financial inclusion and increasing the adoption of digital banking services.
