EBA Phones, a subsidiary of Shakers Group Limited, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Ghanaian music icon, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
In a condolence message signed by the company’s CEO, Emmanuel Bennin Amankwa, the management and staff extended their heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, describing Daddy Lumba as a true legend whose influence transcended generations.
“His immense contribution to Ghanaian music and culture will never be forgotten. He was a true legend whose music touched lives and brought joy to millions,” the message read.
The tribute further noted that while the nation mourns, there is comfort in knowing that the late musician’s legacy will continue to inspire and uplift music lovers across Ghana and beyond.
“May the family find comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on. May his soul rest in perfect peace,” the message concluded.
Daddy Lumba, who passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, left an indelible mark on the highlife music scene with a career spanning over three decades.
