Eba Phones CEO mourns victims of helicopter crash

The Chief Executive Officer of Eba Phones, Emmanuel Bennin Amankwa, has extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the government officials and military personnel who lost their lives in Wednesday’s military helicopter crash.

In an official statement dated August 6, 2025, Mr. Amankwa described the incident as a “profound national tragedy” and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families, the government, and the people of Ghana.

“We mourn the passing of such dedicated and honourable leaders,” he stated.

“May their souls rest in perfect peace, and may the Almighty grant their families strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time.”

The crash claimed the lives of Defence Minister Edward Omane Boamah, Environment Minister Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, and several other top officials and crew members.

To the Families of the Late Honourable Ministers and Crew,

On behalf of myself and the entire team at Eba Phones, I wish to extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the families of the late Hon. Edward Omane Boamah, Hon. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, and the brave military personnel who tragically lost their lives in the recent helicopter crash.

This is a profound national tragedy, and we stand in solidarity with the bereaved families, the Government of Ghana, and all citizens as we mourn the passing of such dedicated and honorable leaders.
