Eastern Region has what it takes to produce a President – Oliver Kevor

Acting Director-General of the National Information Technology Agency (NITA) and Eastern Regional Chairman of the NDC, Dr. Mark-Oliver Kevor, believes the Eastern Region has the capacity to produce a future president.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Dr. Kevor said while it may be premature to focus on the subject, the region is home to individuals capable of leading the country.

“I can’t say it is time for the Eastern Region to produce a president, but if we are given the opportunity, we can. We have capable people. I will be happy if Eastern Region NDC produces a president, but at the end of the day, I don’t think that will matter most,” he stated.

He added that the current priority should be supporting President John Mahama to deliver on his mandate rather than engaging in succession debates.
