Eastern Region appointees committed to lifting others – Mark-Oliver Kevor

The Acting Director-General of the National Information Technology Agency (NITA), Dr. Mark-Oliver Kevor, has assured that government appointees from the Eastern Region are committed to supporting others from the area to rise in public service and political roles.

Speaking in his capacity as Eastern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Kevor noted that the region has seen its highest number of government appointments in history under the current administration.

“For me as regional chairman, I know my people—the ones who have received appointments from the Eastern Region. All of them contributed to the party’s victory. This is the first time we’ve had such high numbers of appointments from the region,” he said in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show.

He added that it is now the responsibility of those appointees to “leverage this opportunity and ensure no one is left behind.”
