
The Coordinating Director of the Public Affairs Subdivision, Madam Kate Addo, has stressed the crucial role of effective communication in governance during the 2025 Parliamentary Service Graduate Training Program.
Delivering a presentation on communication and interpersonal skills, Madam Addo outlined the benefits and impact of effective communication.
She urged employees at all levels to prioritize clarity and precision in both verbal and written exchanges, regardless of whether they were engaging with senior or junior colleagues.
She also encouraged participants in the program to maintain professionalism and neutrality when handling sensitive work-related matters.
According to her, communication is not merely a skill but a powerful tool for fostering trust, transparency, and accountability in governance.
“Communication is the lifeblood of democracy,” she remarked.
