Ace comedian and actor, Kwaku Sintim-Misa popularly known as KSM has stated that DKB is better at stand-up comedy than most Nigerian comedians.
According to him, he laughs to Derrick Kobina Bonney known widely as DKB’s jokes than that of any Nigerian comedian.
Speaking to host Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, KSM rubbished all assertions that Ghanaian creative artistes in the comedy sector are boring with regards to stand-up comedy.
He stressed that ‘Ghanaian comedy not been funny is an old thinking’.
The veteran satirist maintained that ‘The Nigerians have beaten us in numbers. So in share numbers, they beat us. [But] in terms of who is funnier, it’s subjective.’
“DKB makes me laugh. When I listen to him, it cracks me up. It’s hard for me to explain why Ghanaians will say Nigerians are funnier…maybe I have to conduct a research to know why some Ghanaians tow that line…,” he said further.
