Hearts of Oak Communications Director, Kwame Opare Addo, has affirmed that newly appointed head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani enjoys the full support of the club’s leadership and wider fraternity.

The former Black Stars assistant coach was named head coach of the Phobians ahead of the 2025/26 football season, signing a two-year contract.

Dramani brings a wealth of experience, having previously won two Ghana Premier League titles and an FA Cup with rivals Asante Kotoko.

Speaking to Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, Opare Addo disclosed that the club’s hierarchy engaged key stakeholders before finalising the appointment.

“In the wake of Didi Dramani’s appointment, no one has made a negative comment, which means he has the backing of everyone,” he said.

“A stakeholders meeting was held before the appointment was confirmed, and everyone was happy with the decision. He was warmly welcomed by the various stakeholders of the club,” he added.

Dramani, who has also managed Ghana’s Black Queens and Black Maidens, is tasked with reviving the fortunes of the Accra-based club.

Hearts of Oak ended last season in fourth place with 58 points and suffered a Round of 16 exit in the FA Cup.
