Tottenham Hotspur head coach Roberto De Zerbi has praised Mohammed Kudus for his contribution in Spurs’ draw against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
Tottenham travelled to the City Ground on Saturday for their Matchday Three fixture, with Kudus introduced from the bench in the second half after replacing Savio.
The Ghana international featured for 29 minutes and delivered an impressive display, completing all eight of his pass attempts and successfully executing one of his two dribble attempts.
Speaking after the match, De Zerbi singled out Kudus and Andy Robertson for their performances following a double substitution that was prompted by fitness concerns.
“In the second half, the medical team pushed to change Savio and Destiny Udogie after 60 minutes,” De Zerbi told Sky Sports.
“Kudus and Robertson played very well, but maybe making two substitutions at that moment was not so good.”
Kudus will be aiming for a bigger role when Tottenham return to action against Everton on Saturday, with kick-off scheduled for 16:30 GMT.
