The sister of legendary Ghanaian musician Daddy Lumba, Faustina Fosu, has hinted that the family is planning extensions of her late brother’s funeral outside Ghana.

Speaking to Nhyira FM, she explained that although the main funeral was held on December 13, 2025, many relatives and mourners were unable to attend due to ongoing court cases and unresolved family grievances.

“My brother’s legacy goes beyond Ghana, so there are plans for other extensions,” Madam Faustina said, adding that the family has decided to keep specific details private until the family head makes an official announcement.

She noted that the planned international memorial events will offer an opportunity for supporters abroad to pay their last respects.

Reflecting on the December funeral, Madam Faustina expressed mixed emotions. “I was somewhat satisfied with the funeral, but I had some reservations and cried a lot because a faction of the family and mourners could not be present,” she stated.

She further disclosed that the family has since returned to the Manhyia Palace to engage the abusuapanyin and other family heads as part of ongoing mediation and reconciliation efforts.

According to her, the planned international funeral extensions will also help strengthen family unity and provide closure for relatives and fans who were unable to attend the initial funeral.
