We’re only four months into 2020, but thousands of couples have already welcomed babies into the world.

One of the most important jobs new parents face is picking a name for their little bundle of joy – and it’s a really important job.

According to the parenting website Nameberry, there have been some new trends emerging when it comes to popular monikers so far this year – and there are several new additions to the most popular names list.

Luna now tops the girls list, the name of the Roman moon goddess.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend named their little girl Luna, so may be the inspiration before the increase in baby Lunas.

Asher has become the most popular boys name, taking the top spot from last year’s winner Milo.

There are three newcomers to the girls list – Ava, Eloise, and Eleanor.

They take the spots of Ada, Cora, and Amelia.

Arlo, Leo and Levi are the new additions the the boys list.

Surprisingly, Archie has fallen out of the top 10, despite Meghan Markle and Prince Harry picking it for their firstborn son last year.
