Wives of chiefs in Kenyasi No.1 in the Ahafo Region have launched a new club, dubbed “Unique Ladies,” aimed at supporting their husbands to drive development in the community.

The launch was marked by a colourful procession through the principal streets of Kenyasi, followed by a durbar to officially outdoor the group.

Speaking to Adom News, the President of the club, Oheneyere Augustina Akuffo Yeboah, said the wives have recognised the critical role they can play in complementing the efforts of their husbands to enhance development.

She explained that through encouragement, advice and proper guidance from their spouses, chiefs can do even more to improve the living standards of residents.
