The Chief of Asamankese, Osabarima Adu Darko III, has urged residents—especially the youth—to uphold peace and unity as the community prepares to celebrate the 2025 Obour Dwam Festival.
Speaking ahead of the festivities in the Lower West Akyem Municipality, Osabarima Adu Darko III emphasized the importance of maintaining calm during the celebrations, noting that tensions often rise during entertainment activities. He called on young people to avoid confrontations and channel their energy toward supporting community development and preserving the festival’s heritage.

She commended the youth for their strong participation and expressed hope that this year’s celebration would be peaceful, vibrant, and enjoyable for all.
