Chelsea offered chance to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham

Chelsea have been offered the opportunity to sign Mohammed Kudus, amid growing interest in the Ghana international following his standout performances over the past two seasons.

The 23-year-old, who joined West Ham from Ajax two seasons ago, has quickly become one of the Premier League’s most exciting attacking talents, attracting attention from multiple clubs.

As Chelsea gears up for the FIFA Club World Cup and the 2025/26 season, the Blues are actively considering the chance to bolster their forward options with Kudus.

While no official move has been made yet, the West London club is weighing the proposal seriously.

Kudus, who is under contract at West Ham until 2028 with an option for an additional year, has a tiered release clause structure: £80 million for European clubs, £85 million for Premier League sides, and £120 million for Saudi Arabian teams.

Among the interested parties, Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Nassr have shown the strongest intent.

As discussions evolve, West Ham have reportedly expressed interest in two Chelsea players—goalkeeper Robert Sánchez and midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Sánchez, a Spanish international, previously worked with Hammers manager Graham Potter at Brighton and could be allowed to leave if Chelsea secure a new first-choice goalkeeper.

Chelsea’s top target in goal is AC Milan’s Mike Maignan. The French international, whose contract runs out next summer, is said to be keen on a move to Stamford Bridge and has declined to extend his deal with the Serie A club.

This leaves Milan facing the prospect of losing their No.1 for free in 2026.

Chelsea are expected to accelerate negotiations in the coming days, with hopes of finalising a deal for Maignan ahead of their Club World Cup campaign in the United States.
