With barely 12 hours to the rerun in 19 polling stations in the Ablekuma North constituency, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate, Nana Akua Afriyie, is already basking in euphoria.
Poised for victory in the keenly contested election on Friday, July 11, Nana Akua is in a mood of praise and thanksgiving.
In an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, she expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for the victory ahead, breaking into songs of praise.
“God is my only hope, and I believe He will make everything beautiful. I appeal to the constituents of Ablekuma North to come out in their numbers and vote massively for number 1,” she urged.
She wholeheartedly sang Cindy Thompson’s Awurade Kasa, asking God to intervene and manifest Himself strongly.
